Problem

Thailand faces significant challenges with low financial literacy rates, especially among youth and women, leading to poor financial behaviors and high levels of household debt.

Solution

The project proposes creating an engaging financial literacy children's book tailored to Thai culture, featuring interactive stories and activities to teach essential financial concepts.

Goal

Short-Term: Successfully launch and distribute the book across Thailand, reaching at least 5 schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Area in the first year.

Long-Term: Improve financial literacy rates among Thai youth, leading to better financial decisions and behaviors as they grow older.

Partner/Sponsor

Schools and Educational Institutions: For distribution and educational support.

Corporates: For sponsorships.

Government Agencies: For alignment with national educational goals and broader reach, starting with the BMA.

Event Date: Saturday & Sunday, 4th- 5th October 2025
Time: 09:00 - 18:00
Location: Bangkok, Thailand (Specific venue to be announced - TBA)
Language: The hackathon will be conducted entirely in English to ensure an inclusive environment for all participants.

Candidate Criteria

We encourage young professionals from all backgrounds to apply.
Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:
Age: Between 18 and 35 years old at the time of the hackathon.
Commitment: Must be able to commit to and attend the entire full-day program on both days: Saturday, October 04, and Sunday, October 05, 2025.
Background: Open to individuals regardless of academic discipline, professional experience, race, gender, or nationality. We value diversity and believe that varied perspectives lead to the most impactful solutions.
